Our Fees

Many wealth management firms avoid talking about their fees.  At Opus Wealth Management, we don’t operate that way.  We’re long-term oriented and enjoy long relationships with clients and their families.  We believe that these long-term relationships need to be founded on trust.

Part of building that trust is making sure you know, in writing, how much our services will cost at all times.  No work will be done until that occurs.

This straightforward approach ensures our relationship gets off on the right foot and stays there.

No-Obligation Assessment

Our complimentary financial assessment and initial meeting are provided for no charge.  This initial, no-pressure meeting helps us mutually determine if we can help you.

Even if you decide not to work with us, this assessment can provide you with a valuable, outside opinion on what you’re doing right and what you can improve.

Unlimited Support

Our fees always include unlimited support, so you can always call or email us as often as you like.  That built-in support helps ensure that you can consult us when needed to avoid mistakes and stay on track to your plan for financial independence.

Frequently Asked Questions on Our Fees

Q:  How do you charge for investment management?

A:  We charge a simple flat fee based on the percentage of assets that are under management.  These fees range from 0.025% to 1% depending upon the amount of assets under management.

Q:  Will you help me with my 401(k) or 403(b) even if you don’t manage it?

A:   Yes.  We’ll review and include your other assets, even if we don’t manage them, so they are not forgotten.  This is vital to make sure your entire financial situation stays diversified and balanced.

Q: Do I have to sign up for a long-term agreement to work with you?

A: No.  You can leave at any time and only pay for the services you’ve already received.

Q: How do you charge for financial planning?

A: Due to the comprehensive nature of our services, everything we do is quoted specifically for your needs.  So before work begins, we’ll provide you with a clear, written quote showing the cost of our services.  Everything we do is a flat fee, so you’ll know exactly what the cost will be upfront, with no surprise bills or hourly fees. Our comprehensive financial planning engagements start at $2,500 and go up based on complexity.
